G-Netech Studios' parent company, iOnline Pty Ltd, acquired the HostPoint web hosting service from a Gold Coast IT services and facility management company recently.

HostPoint was a service that began during G-Netech's formative years, but which spun away from the company during a realignment a few years ago. G-Netech is pleased to announce that the acquisition of HostPoint has brought the hosting services of many of our existing design and production customers back under the control of G-Netech.

This means that our existing and future design clients will be offered greater flexibility in regards to what their online applications and websites are able to deliver, while ensuring superior response times to customer service enquiries, upgrade requests, new account requests and web development services. That's good news for all involved and is certain to help G-Netech clients to extract even greater results from their online endeavours.

Amongst a range of new offerings that G-Netech is currently rolling out in its expansion of HostPoint are:

• The deployment of control panel software to enable clients to manage their own email accounts, to view web stats and to retain greater control over their sites' functionality.
• Added support for a range of video and audio streaming technologies to enable customers to stream their TVCs, training videos, product announcements, 3D animations and video productions simply and effectively.
• A new HostPoint website, complete with a support ticketing system to streamline the delivery of top-notch customer service.
• New hosting plans, ranging from basic shared packages, through to VPS and dedicated server offerings to support a broader range of customer needs.
